Bob,

I purchased my groomer in June. I have a 900 ft. drive, mostly pit run gravel. I used to hire a power grader twice an year to get the pot holes fixed. I have used your groomer about five times and have reestablished a crown and now the drive is the best it ever has been. Product is as advertised and I am pleased. I would like to paint the wear points on the groomer before winter. Do you have a paint color or color number I could match? Thanks, Kent

Hi Kent,

Thanks for that question. May I post your e-mail on the site with this answer so others can have the answer too? It is actually not paint. It is powder coat. But Allis Chalmers Orange from Rustoleum is almost a perfect match.

Bob,
We are VERY pleased with our driveway groomer!  Our lane has had no maintenance for 2 years.  My friends would not get together at my house because they didn’t want to drive their cars up my lane (600-700 ft). It was in very bad shape, so it took quite a few hours to get it looking good again, but what a difference!!  We probably won’t need to add any gravel; maybe one load, but not 2or 3 like we thought. It was so rough, it beat up the concrete blocks pretty badly, but I don’t mind going to get new ones to do the drive to and in front of our barn.  What I especially like is that I can keep it maintained w/o any added costs!!  I will surely recommend it to my friends with gravel lanes and driveways.  It was worth the wait!

I ordered the driveway groomer a few weeks ago. I was a bit skeptical at
first, but I followed the directions and just experimented with patience. I am
very impressed at the results. I ended up trying it out on a stretch of
driveway that my neighbors and I were sure that we were going to have to add a
considerable amount of gravel. It just looked like hard packed dirt with
potholes. After a good rain, I spent a couple of hours on it. Now it
looks as if we had it graveled and professionally repaired. We were all pleasantly
pleased! Thank you very much. This groomer is exactly what I was looking
for.

Hi Bob,

We got the groomer on Friday, and started working on the driveway Friday night. It had gotten really bad with time. We ran it over the driveway a couple times and what an improvement. We went over it again Sunday and are very pleased with the results. We were getting ruts and bumps in the driveway that looked like speed bumps, and on a 450 ft long driveway it was a bear to rake. Yes, even I took a turn raking it and blistered both hands in the process.

We had been trying to figure out what we were going to do long term with the driveway since my dad was no longer able to grade it with his tractor and we did not have access to a tractor. This is going to be great, we are now able to be self sufficient and handle this ourselves. We were extremely impressed with what a great job it did.

Thanks for answering my questions last week. I appreciate your help (and my hands appreciate it too)!!

Thanks,
Kathy

I have to tell you. I bought a Driveway groomer last year because my wife and I built a new home up on a hill. Our driveway is 600' long, gravel and the elevation is difference is about 60' in that 600', so when it rains it washed ruts in our driveway. All of my neighbors have the same problem, all of them use tractors with grader blades, and all of them laughed at me when I bought the Driveway Groomer.
Now, everyone in the area ask's how my driveway stays so nice. I show them my little gem that I pull behind my ATV and they cant believe it. Its hard for a bunch of old farmers to believe that there mighty tractor does not do a better job than my little ATV with the Driveway Groomer.
My only letdown was that the 4' Groomer was not out when I bought the 6' Groomer.

Great invention! It has saved me much time and money!!

I wanted to send you these before and after pictures of what I am doing with your Driveway Groomer.  You are looking at two photos of the same drive (just a little different position) before and after using the Driveway Groomer.  This area was brush hogged first because the brush was waist high.  I brush hogged to the tree line and was finally able to see the two ruts of the gravel road beneath.  I then put the Groomer to work.  It was time consuming but well worth it.  I think the results are impressive.  I have not added any gravel to the road.  All this good gravel was under the overgrowth.  When I have the drive completely groomed, I am convinced that it will take very little continuing maintenance to keep the drive looking like a road rather than two ruts through the wood.

Thanks and I hope the photos transmit so you can see the results.

Kudos for an extremely well built item (Groomer Junior)! I cannot recall a more pleasant assembly experience or a better final product.

Thanks,

First Observations! I love this thing!!!!
Put it together last PM. This AM within two hours it looks the same as when I paid $600. 20 years ago to have it professionally graded. (guy with big Bulldozer).
I was going to rent a BobCat for $250 for the day, glad I didn't.
Getting 8 tons of gravel this afternoon and will see how it spreads to fill in big sinkholes. This metal is one rugged piece of equipment. Do need to tie in the blocks with bungee cords.

As with anything your skeptical, but this works. I tried to make up something like this out of PT wood years ago but it kept breaking.

If interested, I'm taking before and after pictures.

"FANTASTIC UNIT!! Only one problem.........It is kinda addicting. I kept telling the wife . Just one more pass ....just one more pass.... lol This thing not only filled the holes in drive but at same time I was able to pull rock into places that didnt have rock current creating a large area to part. Cant wait till tomorrow when there is more daylight!!!" -Roger, Illinois

"I received the Groomer and it works great! My 600 plus foot driveway looks terrific without buying a new load of Gravel". -Joe, Wisconsin

" I used it for 1-1/2 hours and 99% of the ruts are gone" -Tom, Virginia

" The driveway looks much, much better" -Caroline, New Hampshire

"I regret not writing you prior to this about how much I like the driveway groomer. It is a wonderful product and has exceeded my expectations. I have found it easy to use and very effective. It is very well designed and strongly built. I am still learning all of the different ways to use it in certain situations. However, from the first time that I used it I made a significant improvement in the appearance and utility of my driveway. I also found you to be very helpful when I had a question during assembly. I think that it is a wonderful product and I would recommend it to anyone with a gravel driveway."
